A new season of True Detective is always worth getting excited about, but when it’s headlined by Jodie Foster and overseen by Tigers Are Not Afraid writer-director Issa López, that marks Night Country out as must-watch television, and HBO has just dropped an atmospheric new trailer for the limited series.
López takes over showrunner duties from series creator Nic Pizzolatto, and pairs Foster with boxer and actress Kali Reis (Wind River: The Next Chapter), who must work together to investigate the mysterious disappearance of eight men who have vanished in the treacherous Alaskan darkness. The six-episode series also stars Finn Bennett, Fiona Shaw, Christopher Eccleston, Isabella Star LaBlanc, and John Hawkes; Check out the trailer below…
