At this point we can just skip the holiday season and fast-forward to the most anticipated thing on our calendar for the next few months, and that’s HBO’s adaptation of the acclaimed video game The Last of Us.
Following the release of the official trailer earlier this month, HBO have teased a few more scenes in which we see Joel (Pedro Pascal) and Ellie (Bella Ramsey) interacting with Bill (Nick Offerman), Riley (Storm Reid), and Tess (Anna Torv) as they journey across a landscape full of infected, raiders, and the game’s iconic clickers. Check out the clip below…
The Last of Us story takes place twenty years after modern civilization has been destroyed. Joel, a hardened survivor, is hired to smuggle Ellie, a 14-year-old girl, out of an oppressive quarantine zone. What starts as a small job soon becomes a brutal, heartbreaking journey, as they both must traverse the U.S. and depend on each other for survival.
