John Krasinski has announced his role in the upcoming animated film DC League of Super-Pets. He will not be playing one of the super animals however, but rather the Man of Steel himself alongside Dwayne Johnson’s Krypto the Superdog. Krasinski tweeted the news with a new image showing Superman and Krypto flying together.
Plot details on the film are relatively unknown, but it is said it will see Superman leave Metropolis for a short while with Johnson’s Krypto, Kevin Hart’s Ace the Bat-Hound and other super pets protecting the city in his absence. Marc Maron (GLOW) will voice Superman’s arch-nemesis Lex Luthor in the film.
