John Lithgow unleashes his dementia doll in The Rule of Jenny Pen trailer

A trailer has arrived online for writer-director James Ashcroft’s The Rule of Jenny Pen, an upcoming horror-thriller praised by Stephen King as one of the best movies of the year.

Based on Owen Marshall’s short story, the film follows a Stefan (Geoffrey Rush), a judge who moves into a retirement home following a stroke where he finds himself in conflict with sadistic resident Dave (John Lithgow), who terrorises the other residents using a dementia doll. Stefan Mortensen (Geoffrey Rush), a misanthropic judge, suffers a stroke forcing him into a retirement home, where Dave Crealy (John Lithgow), has long terrorised the other residents, but Mortensen sets himself in deadly conflict with this tyrant.

The Rule of Jenny Pen arrives in cinemas on March 20th.
