For several years now, John Turturro has been talking about the possibility of a spinoff from the Coen brothers’ 1998 classic The Big Lebowski, and it seems it may be happening right now.
Turturro has recently started shooting Going Places, a remake of the 1974 French film Les Valseuses, and Birth.Movies.Death is reporting that its actually the long-rumoured spinoff, with Turturro reprising the role of Jesus Quintana.
The film sees Turturro starring alongside Bobby Cannavale, Audrey Tautou and Susan Sarandon, and reportedly follows “two petty thieves, Turturro’s Jesus and Cannavale’s Petey, who compete to give a woman (Tautou) her first orgasm after she’s roped into their hijinks.”
