John Wick director Chad Stahelski is set to direct a big screen adaptation of the Image Comics sci-fi series Analog from writer Gerry Duggan and artist David O’Sullivan.
Colony creator Ryan Condal will write the script for the Lionsgate project, which takes place in the near future where the security of the internet has been rendered useless by an event called the ‘Great Doxxing’, with people then turning to ‘Ledger Men’, agents who carry sensitive secrets the old-fashioned way — with a briefcase handcuffed to one arm and a gun held in the other.
In addition to directing, Stahelski will also produce Analog with his John Wick co-director David Leitch through their 87eleven production company.
Stahelski is currently shooting John Wick: Chapter 3 for Lionsgate, and also has a remake of Highlander on his upcoming slate (which has also been scripted by Condal), as well as another comic book adaptation in Kill or Be Killed.
