John Wick directors wanted for Cowboy Ninja Viking starring Chris Pratt

February 1, 2015 by Gary Collinson

Back in November it was announced that Chris Pratt (Guardians of the Galaxy) is set to take on another comic book movie role, taking the lead in an adaptation of Image’s Cowboy Ninja Viking.

Now Variety is reporting that Universal Pictures has turned to John Wick helmers David Leitch and Chad Stahelski to direct the movie, with the duo having reportedly received the seal of approval from Pratt, and an official offer from the studio.

Cowboy Ninja Viking was created by writer A.J. Lieberman and artist Riley Rossmo “follows a man who suffers from multiple personality disorder and is put into a government program to be turned into a super-soldier with the attributes of a cowboy, a ninja and a viking.”
