Director Jamie Dagg has found his cast for the upcoming thriller Sweet Virginia, with Jon Bernthal (Daredevil), Imogen Poots (Roadies), Christopher Abbott (James White), Rosemarie DeWitt (Poltergeist) and Odessa Young (The Daughter) all set to appear in the film.
Deadline reports that the project, which is based on a Black List script from Ben and Paul China, “follows a motel owner with a dark past (Bernthal) who unknowingly starts a rapport with a young hitman (Abbott) responsible for a spate of violence that suddenly has gripped a small town.
Production on Sweet Virginia is set to get underway next week.
