Following on from this week’s castings of Colin Woodell and Mel Gibson, the upcoming John Wick prequel series The Continental has now added a further five regulars to its cast.
As reported by Deadline, the new additions include Hubert Point-Du Jour (The Good Lord Bird) as Miles, Jessica Allain (The Laundromat) as Lou, Mishel Prada (Riverdale) as KD, Nhung Kate (The Housemaid) as Yen, and Ben Robson (The Boy) as Frankie.
The three-part series serves as a spinoff to the acclaimed Keanu Reeves action series, with Woodell portraying a young Winston Scott, the owner of The Continental, who is played by Ian McShane in the movies.
The Continental will explore the origin behind the hotel-for-assassins, which increasingly has become the centerpiece of the John Wick universe. This will be accomplished through the eyes and actions of a young Winston Scott, who is dragged into the Hell-scape of a 1975 New York City to face a past he thought he’d left behind. Winston charts a deadly course through the New York’s mysterious underworld in a harrowing attempt to seize the iconic hotel, which serves as the meeting point for the world’s most dangerous criminals.
