Get Out director Jordan Peele has set his first project under a new TV development deal with Sonar Entertainment, with THR reporting that he is developing a 1970s-set Nazi hunting drama entitled The Hunt, which is being scripted by David Weil.
The potential series is based on true events and “follows a diverse band of Nazi hunters in 1970s America as they set out on a quest for revenge and justice — tracking and killing hundreds of Nazis who, with the unconscionable help of the U.S. government, escaped justice and embedded themselves in American society.”
After starring in comedy shows such as Key and Peele and MADtv, Peele made his feature directorial debut earlier this year with the acclaimed horror Get Out, which went on to gross over $250 million worldwide from a budget of just $4.5 million.
