While promoting his latest film, Dune Part Two, Brolin spills on his hate for the 2010 DC movie to GQ magazine, telling the publication: “I won’t ever stop shitting on Jonah Hex because it was a shitty fucking movie.”
Brolin then adds that he’s recently reconnected with director Jimmy Hayward, and the filmmaker even “apologized for his part in the mess.” He revealed he has bone cancer and has had surgeries: “It reminded me [that] you can’t just keep shitting on somebody. I don’t know what the fuck is going on in his life. I mean, total facial reconstruction, the whole thing.”
Jonah Hex would only make $11 million at the worldwide box office against a production budget of $47 million. It currently sits at 12% on Rotten Tomatoes.
