Josh Gad boards Murder on the Orient Express

Josh Gad has signed on to appear in 20th Century Fox’s upcoming adaptation of Agatha Christie’s Murder on the Orient Express, with Variety reporting that he will portray the character of Hector MacQueen.

The film is being directed by Kenneth Branagh, who also stars as famed detective Hercule Poirot. He will be joined by a star-studded line-up that includes Johnny Depp, Michelle Pfeiffer, Daisy Ridley, Judi Dench, Lucy Boynton, Tom Bateman, Derek Jacobi, Michael Pena and Leslie Odom Jr.

The latest adaptation of Christie’s 1934 novel is being produced by Branagh, Mark Gordon, Ridley Scott and Simon Kinberg, and is set to begin production in November ahead of a release on November 10th, 2017.
