Julianne Moore rumored for Kingsman 2 villain, Colin Firth expected not to return

February 18, 2016 by Robert Kojder

The Hollywood Reporter has broken news that Julianne Moore (who won an Oscar last year for Still Alice) might be entering the world of British secret operatives in Kingsman 2. A deal has not been reached yet, but if things do go through she will likely play the film’s villain.

Meanwhile Colin Firth is essentially guaranteed not to return, as it is noted that plans for the character to make an appearance via flashback or other methods have been nixed.

Kingsman: The Secret Service made close to $415 million at the worldwide box office last year, on a $81 million budget.
