Kaley Cuoco-led The Flight Attendant cancelled after two seasons

January 21, 2024 by EJ Moreno

Max has now cancelled The Flight Attendant. Kaley Cuoco led the streaming series for two seasons on HBO Max/Max, earning two Emmy nominations for the role, while the series was nominated for Best Comedy for season one.

“What started out as an attention-grabbing book cover quickly evolved into an extraordinary flight of a lifetime,” Cuoco said. “I always envisioned TFA as a limited series, and thanks to an incredible creative team, we were able to deliver two thrilling seasons. Personally, playing Cassie has been a dream come true, and I am so grateful for everyone who played a part in bringing this extremely original series to life.”

Creator Steve Yockey adds, “The Flight Attendant was a true passion project, and the reception from viewers and critics alike was pretty stunning. Our unorthodox spectacle of a show really found people. As we all move on to new projects, those two seasons of television and the incredible team of professionals behind them will always stay at the top of my list.”

Cuoco isn’t finished with Max just yet however, as she will return to once again lend her voice to Harley Quinn for a fifth season of the DC animated series later in the year.

Cassie Bowden (Kaley Cuoco) is living her best sober life in Los Angeles while moonlighting as a CIA asset in her spare time. But when an overseas assignment leads her to inadvertently witness a murder, she becomes entangled in another international intrigue.

The Flight Attendant starred Kaley Cuoco, Zosia Mamet, Griffin Matthews, Deniz Akdeniz, Rosie Perez, T.R. Knight, Yasha Jackson and Audrey Grace Marshall alongside series newcomers Sharon Stone, Mo McRae, Callie Hernandez, JJ Soria, Alanna Ubach, Cheryl Hines, Jessie Ennis, Mae Martin, Margaret Cho, Santiago Cabrera and Shohreh Aghdashloo.

The Flight Attendant is still streaming on Max.
