Karen Gillan and Lee Pace star in trailer for The Party’s Just Beginning

November 8, 2019 by Amie Cranswick

A new UK poster and trailer for the comedy drama The Party’s Just Beginning, which marks the directorial debut for Karen Gillan who also stars in the film alongside Lee Pace, Matthew Beard, and Paul Higgins; take a look here…

In the bleak Scottish winter, witty and sarcastic Liusaidh (Karen Gillan) is spiralling into a reckless, drunken, mid-twenties crisis. Filling her days and nights with casual joyless sex, junk food and a belief in ‘the power of positive drinking’ she’s plagued by visions of her best friend Alistair (Matthew Beard) throwing himself from a bridge. With bittersweet memories of the time spent with her friend, Liusaidh struggles to connect with anyone until a chance encounter with a stranger from out of town (Lee Pace).

The Party’s Just Beginning is set for a theatrical release on December 1st, followed by a VOD release on December 11th.
