Karen Gillan joins the cast of Jumanji in key role

Karen Gillan (Guardians of the Galaxy) is the latest to join the cast of Jumanji, with Dwayne Johnson making the announcement on social media today and stating that the former Doctor Who star is “playing the most important role in the movie”.

Jumanji is set for release on July 28th 2017, and sees Jake Kasdan (Sex Tape) directing a cast that includes Dwayne Johnson (Fast 8), Kevin Hart (Central Intelligence), Jack Black (Goosebumps), Nick Jonas (Scream Queens) and Karen Gillan (Guardians of the Galaxy).
