More than twenty years after her first outing in the series, actress Karin Konoval is returning to The X-Files for a guest role in the upcoming eleventh season, which is currently in production ahead of its premiere early in the New Year.
Konoval first appeared in the infamous 1996 episode ‘Home’, portraying a mutant-breeding amputee, although this time around she will be taking on a different role.
“While Karen Konoval won’t be reprising her role as the mother-under-the-bed in the fan-favorite episode ‘Home’, she will be returning in a tour-de-force performance in an early episode,” said series creator Chris Carter (via EW). “Or, more accurately — performances.”
The new season of The X-Files sees the return of David Duchovny, Gillian Anderson, Mitch Pileggi, William B. Davis, Annabeth Gish, Robbie Amell and Lauren Ambrose, while new additions include Barbara Hershey and Brian Huskey.
