Deadline is reporting that Kate McKinnon (The Spy Who Dumped me) and Allison Janney (I, Tonya) have become the latest additions to the upcoming film about disgraced Fox News boss Roger Ailes.
Jay Roach (Trumbo) is directing the as-yet-untitled film, which will explore Ailes’ downfall following allegations of sexual harassment and misconduct, and will focus on the women who brought him down.
McKinnon is set to portray a fictional producer, while Janney will play feminist lawyer Susan Estrich. The duo join a star-studded cast which includes Nicole Kidman (Big Little Lies) as Carlson, Charlize Theron (Atomic Blonde) as Kelly, and Margot Robbie (I, Tonya) as a fictional Fox News associate producer.
Saturday Night Live star McKinnon will next be seen on the big screen in the as-yet-untitled Danny Boyle/Richard Curtis movie, while Oscar-winner Janney is preparing to shoot the comedy drama Bad Education opposite Hugh Jackman.
