According to Deadline, Imagine Entertainment are in talks with Kate McKinnon (Ghostbusters) and Mila Kunis (Bad Moms) for the upcoming comedy The Spy Who Dumped Me, which is being directed by Susanna Fogel (Chasing Life) from a script by Fogel and David Iserson (United States of Tara).
The film will see the duo playing “best friends who unwittingly become entangled in an international conspiracy when one of the women discovers the boyfriend who dumped her was actually a spy.”
Saturday Night Live star McKinnon has several projects on the horizon including Rough Night and The Lunch Witch, while she will also lend her voice to Ms. Frizzle in The Magic School Bus Rides Again. Kunis meanwhile is set to return for the Bad Moms sequel Bad Moms Christmas and is also attached to the animated comedy Amusement Park.
