Kevin Costner’s long in development Western epic Horizon: An American Saga is set to hit theaters next summer in a two-film event. Warner Bros. and New Line Cinema released a teaser announcing the dates for Chapter 1 and Chapter 2 in June and August 2024 respectively. Watch the teaser below…
Horizon “chronicles a multi-faceted, 15-year span of pre- and post-Civil War expansion and settlement of the American West. Experienced through the eyes of many, the epic journey is fraught with peril and intrigue from the constant onslaught of natural elements to the interactions with the Indigenous peoples who lived on the land and the determination and at many times ruthlessness of those who sought to settle it.”
Costner directed the film and co-wrote the script with Join Baird, as well as starring alongside Sienna Miller (Anatomy of a Scandal), Sam Worthington (Avatar: The Way of Water), Jena Malone (Goliath), Abbey Lee (Lovecraft Country), Michael Rooker (Guardians of the Galaxy), Danny Huston (Marlowe), Luke Wilson (Stargirl), Isabelle Fuhrman (Orphan: First Kill), Jeff Fahey (Lost), Will Patton (Outer Range), Tatanka Means (Killers of the Flower Moon), Owen Crow Shoe (Joe Pickett), Ella Hunt (Dickinson) and Jamie Campbell Bower (Stranger Things).
Horizon: An American Saga – Chapter 1 will be released June 28, 2024 and Chapter 2 on August 16, 2024.
