Kevin Hart is set to produce and star in the action-comedy Night School, with Universal Pictures setting his Ride Along and Think Like a Man helmer Tim Story to direct, Variety has revealed.
The project is based on a story by Hart and follows a group of misfits forced to attend adult classes to prepare for the GED exam. Hart has penned the script with Harry Ratchford, Joey Wells, and Matt Kellard, with additional work from Nicholas Stoller (Bad Neighbours).
This year we’ll see Hart lending his voice to Captain Underpants: The First Epic Movie as well as appearing in Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle, while he is also currently shooting Untouchable – a remake of the French comedy-drama The Intouchables – where he stars alongside Bryan Cranston.
