Kiefer Sutherland, the star of The Fugitive, says he is open to return for a second season.
The Fugitive, an update on the 1993 Harrison Ford film for the small screen, debuted on streaming platform Quibi this past week, starring Kiefer Sutherland and Boyd Holbrook [read our review here].
Sutherland stars as a lawman on the hunt for Holbrook in the series, a familiar role to the actor after his long stint on 24 – a show he has recently said that he would like to return to one day.
But what about a second season of The Fugitive? If the show does well, would he like to return? Speaking to Forbes, Sutherland said: “That would be up to them. My experience making this season was one of the nicest experiences I’ve ever had. Production ran smoothly, working with Stephen was like working with an old friend as he did the first season of 24, and Boyd is an extraordinary actor. A second season is always going to be dictated by Quibi and the audience turnout for this first season.
“If they want it, I would certainly be open to it.”

It remains to be seen if the show will prove popular enough for a second season to be ordered but between The Fugitive and a possible 24 revival, hopefully Sutherland will have a significant presence on our screens for some time to come.
