With talk of a sequel being bounded around, it’s good news for Kingsman: The Secret Service as the movie passed $150 million worldwide over the weekend.
The movie, directed by Matthew Vaughn (X-Men: First Class), took $17.5 million in the US, which was only marginally behind Fifty Shades of Grey‘s $23 million. With its foreign total of $86 million, Kingsman: The Secret Service now sits at $153.5 million worldwide – a great result for a movie with a projected budget of $81 million.
