The age of the hunter is upon us, Kraven The Hunter, to be specific.
After a last-minute leak ahead of the official release, Sony Pictures has revealed the first official trailer for the upcoming superhero film Kraven The Hunter.
The first trailer reveals Kraven The Hunter in his signature stylings, but it also lets viewers know this will be quite the brutal film. As Sony Pictures’ first R-rated Marvel entry, the filmmakers are surely using the rating with bloody kill after bloody kill.
Aaron Taylor-Johnson shines as the titular anti-hero, which looks to be Sony’s best live-action Marvel effort since the first Venom movie. We’ll find out when the movie rips into cinemas this fall. Check out the trailer below…
Kraven the Hunter is being directed by J.C. Chandor (A Most Violent Year) from a script by Art Marcum (Iron Man), Richard Wenk (Jack Reacher: Never Go Back) and Matt Holloway (Uncharted), and takes place within Sony’s shared Marvel universe alongside Venom and Morbius. The film also stars Russell Crowe, Alessandro Nivola, Levi Miller, and Christopher Abbott
Kraven the Hunter is the visceral story about how and why one of Marvel’s most iconic villains came to be. Set before his notorious vendetta with Spider-Man, Aaron Taylor-Johnson stars as the titular character in the R-rated film.
Kraven the Hunter releases in theaters on October 6th, 2023.
