Kristen Bell (The Good Place) and Adam Brody (Ready or Not) will lead a new comedy series for Netflix titled Nobody Wants This, focusing on an unexpected romance two very different people. The series will premiere on Netflix on September 26th.
Nobody Wants This is created by Erin Foster (Barely Famous) and follows “the unlikely relationship between an outspoken, agnostic woman, Joanne (Bell), and an unconventional rabbi, Noah (Brody).”
The series will also feature Justine Lupe, Timothy Simons, Stephanie Faracy, Tovah Feldshuh, Paul Ben-Victor, Michael Hitchcock, Jackie Tohn, Sherry Cola, Shiloh Bearman and Emily Arlook.
“This show is based on the only good decision I ever made: falling for a nice Jewish boy,” Foster said of the series. “But I realized that being happy is way harder than being miserable (there’s nothing to complain about). So, I created this show based on all the ways that finding the right person can be so hard. Nobody Wants This, but we do, and that’s all that matters.”
Nobody Wants This will premiere on September 26th.
