Everyone from Josh Brolin to Ewan McGregor have been linked with the role over the past few weeks, but now according to Deadline it will be the Emmy winning star of Bloodline and Catch-22 who will embody the legendary Lantern.
The series comes from Watchmen and LOST scribe Damon Lindelof, who will work alongside Ozark‘s Chris Mundy and DC comic author Tom King.
Consisting of eight episodes, Lanterns will follows new recruit John Stewart and iconic Lantern Hal Jordan (Kyle Chandler), two intergalactic cops drawn into a dark, Earth-based mystery as they investigate a murder in the American heartland.
