Having swapped the DC Extended Universe (where he plays Daily Planet editor in chief Perry White) for the Marvel Cinematic Universe with his upcoming role as Bill Foster/Goliath in Ant-Man and the Wasp, it seems that actor Laurence Fishburne is already eyeing another part in the MCU – one whose herald he’s already played.
“Well, you know this is not my first time in the MCU: I was actually the voice of the Silver Surfer,” said Fishburne, referring to his role in 20th Century Fox’s Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer. “And if they ever go back to that again – if it was a villain – I would love to do Galactus.”
Fishburne could potentially get his wish – and within the MCU this time – as the Devourer of Worlds may soon be at Marvel’s disposal, assuming Disney’s acquisition of Fox goes through.
