Leeroy Jenkins may appear in Warcraft movie

May 21, 2015 by Alfie Nobes

After a recent tweet from Book of Eli writer Gary Whitta, it seems there is a chance that the upcoming Warcraft film will include a reference to iconic viral video star, Leeroy Jenkins.

Whitta posted alongside the script image, stating “Leeroy Jenkins was actually in my original draft of the Warcraft movie, and yes, he ran into battle too early.”

Understandably, it seems as though private Jenkins was a tad too keen for a taste of battle, and comes to a speedy, bloody end. Despite how awesome it would be to see Leeroy Jenkins make an appearance on the big screen, there is a possibility the sequence will not make it through the scripts numerous rewrites, co-writers and general editing.
