In more news coming out of Star Wars Celebration in Japan, Lucasfilm has announced that last year’s animated miniseries LEGO Star Wars: Rebuild the Galaxy is set to receive a sequel this September with the arrival of the four-part LEGO Star Wars: Rebuild the Galaxy – Pieces of the Past.
The news was revealed by Rebuild the Galaxy showrunners and writers Dan Hernandez and Benji Samit during a video appearance at Celebration, with Hernandez stating: “We’ve been asked, what’s next for Sig, Yesi, and Jedi Bob? Will there be more Darth Jar Jar? Star Wars Celebration fans, we’re excited to announce that their story will continue.”

Alongside the announcement was the release of the official poster artwork, which reveals that the classic Marvel Comics character Jaxxon is set to make his first named appearance in an animated Star Wars project, where he’ll be voiced by Ben Schwartz (Sonic the Hedgehog), while animated Ahsoka Tano voice actress Ashley Eckstein will also reprise her role to portray a BrickHeadz version of the former Jedi.

LEGO Star Wars: Rebuild the Galaxy – Pieces of the Past will premiere on Disney+ on September 19th.
