With James Wan opting to pass on directing duties on the upcoming Swamp Thing pilot, rumours are suggesting that the DC Universe live-action series has found his replacement.
According to Splash Report (so caution advised), Underworld creator and Live Free or Die Hard and Total Recall helmer Len Wiseman has signed on to direct the first episode of the show.
Wan is executive producing the Swamp Thing series, while the pilot has been scripted by Gary Dauberman (It) and Mark Verheiden (Battlestar Galactica). Production on the pilot is slated to begin in the Fall, shooting in Wilmington, North Carolina.
