Last September it was announced that TNT had given the green light to a live-action Teen Titans adaptation from screenwriters Akiva Goldsman (Batman Forever, Batman & Robin) and Marc Haimes (The Last Word).
In December, DC’s Geoff Johns revealed that the pilot would shoot some time this year, while a report from June claimed that cameras would start rolling on the pilot – now titled Blackbirds – in October.
Well, with October now just around the corner we’ve heard absolutely nothing about the project, but TV Line is reporting that the network still has plans for the pilot:
Seeing how many got into a tizzy and feared the worst when TNT announced its fall/winter slate – and given that there has been no movement on the casting/production front – I asked around and have been assured that the DC Comics-based series is still in development.
