Fulqrum Publishing and developer Byte Barrel have released new gameplay footage of their upcoming Lovecraftian horror retro FPS sequel Forgive Me Father 2.
In Forgive Me Father 2 players will once more journey through a horrifying world inspired by H.P Lovecraft’s myths. In a world where madness and malevolence dominate and corrupt all around it, join the Priest character from the first game and fight a diverse range of enemies and Lovecraftian horrors with a wide range of weapons, from knives to grenade launchers.
Players will fight their way through 10 enemy filled levels representing nightmares created by the Great Old Ones, including war-torn trenches, defiled cathedrals and haunted villas, and figure out where the nightmares end and reality begins. Will the priest gain the salvation he seeks or will he be consumed by madness.
Forgive Me Father 2 features:
- A distinctive hand-drawn graphic style.
- Defeat a variety of Lovecraft inspired nightmarish creatures that can evolve into even more evil forms.
- Choose your own playstyle thanks to the huge variety of weapons. Choose from Shotguns, rifles, explosives and more.
- A dynamic madness system that has players able to become more powerful.
- An original soundtrack with a dark Lovecraftian atmosphere.
Forgive Me Father 2 will launch into Early Access on PC on 19th October. In the meantime, a free playable demo of the game is now available on Steam and feature’s the game’s first two levels.
