M. Night Shyamalan currently has his latest thriller Split opening up in theaters this weekend [you can read my review here], but his future is something of a blank slate at present. However, in an interview with Digital Spy, the director did lay out one desire:
“My boys who do Stranger Things, they did Wayward Pines for me. They were round my house and I was like, ‘Well, you can hire me back guys!’”
Shyamalan’s first foray into television, Wayward Pines, is currently in limbo, although FOX has revealed at the TCA Winter Press tour that the show could get a third season, but it won’t air this year.
