With a new director on board in Gore Verbinski (Pirates of the Caribbean) and a release date of Valentine’s Day 2019 set, it seems that 20th Century Fox’s long-delayed Gambit movie is really starting to pick up steam.
According to Omega Underground, the project has now enlisted Oscar-winning costume designer Jenny Beavan, whose previous credits include the Academy Award-winning The King’s Speech and Mad Max: Fury Road. Beaven has also previously worked with Verbinski, with the pair having collaborated on this year’s A Cure for Wellness.
