Back in April of last year it was announced that among Disney’s numerous live-action remakes of its animated classics is a live-action Winnie the Pooh movie, and now comes word that Marc Forster (Finding Neverland, World War Z) is set to direct the project, entitled Christopher Robin.
The film has been scripted by Alex Ross Perry (Listen Up Philip, Queen of Earth), with EW reporting that it will centre on a now-adult Christopher Robin, “who toils as a businessman and prioritizes work above his wife and daughter. Having lost his sense of wonder, he must find it again with the help of a silly old bear.”
