Having popped up in Todd Phillips’ Joker, actor and comedian Marc Maron has revealed on his podcast that he’s set to return to the DC Universe, this time to voice Lex Luthor in Warner Bros. Animation’s DC League of Super-Pets.
Written and directed by Jared Stern (Happy Anniversary), DC League of Super-Pets will follow the pet sidekicks of the Justice League as they form a superhero team of their own.
Maron joins a cast that includes Jumanji co-stars Dwayne Johnson as Krypto the Superdog and Kevin Hart as Ace the Bat-Hound, along with Kate McKinnon, John Krasinski, Vanessa Bayer, Natasha Lyonne, Diego Luna and Keanu Reeves in as-yet-unrevealed roles.
DC League of Super-Pets is set for release on May 20th 2022, and a first-look is set to be unveiled at next month’s DC FanDome virtual event.
