Seeing as he doesn’t have any more commitments to Sony’s wall-crawler following the disappointing The Amazing Spider-Man 2, Deadline is reporting that director Marc Webb is filling out his upcoming slate.
First for the filmmaker will be Gifted, which is set to start shooting this autumn with Chris Evans (Captain America: The Winter Soldier) set to star as a man who sues for custody of his gifted neice.
Webb plans to follow gifted with the Black List script The Only Living Boy In New York, which will see Miles Teller (Fantastic Four) as a college graduate who ends up in a love triangle with his father’s mistress. Jeff Bridges (R.I.P.D.) and Rosamund Pike (Gone Girl) are in talks to round out the cast.
