With filming now underway in Spain, it has been announced that Wes Anderson has added Margot Robbie (The Suicide Squad), The French Dispatch’s Rupert Friend and frequent collaborator Jason Schwartzman to the cast of his newest film.
Plot details for the as-yet-untitled movie are being kept under wraps, but THR reports that the cast is expected to be larger than most of Anderson’s other ensemble films.
Robbie, Friend and Schwartzman join a cast that includes recent addition Tom Hanks and Anderson regulars Bill Murray, Tilda Swinton and Adrien Brody. Production on the film is expected to run through to late September.
Anderson’s most recent film The French Dispatch opens in October, with the cast including Benicio del Toro, Adrien Brody, Tilda Swinton, Léa Seydoux, Frances McDormand, Timothée Chalamet, Lyna Khoudri, Jeffrey Wright, Mathieu Amalric, Stephen Park, Bill Murray, and Owen Wilson.
