Suicide Squad star Margot Robbie has added another project to her upcoming slate, with The Hollywood Reporter revealing that the Australian actress has signed on to appear in Warner Bros.’ adaptation of Dean N. Jensen’s Queen of the Air.
The story follows “Lillian Leitzel, a trapeze artist who in the early 20th century was one of the biggest stars in the world as she performed for the Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey Circus. Her tragic love affair with Alfredo Codona, who may have been one of the best trapeze artists to ever flip under the big top, also was chronicled. The two were tempestuous artists, divas and madly in love.”
Robbie has several projects on the horizon, including the A.A. Milne biopic Goodbye Christopher Robin, noir thriller Terminal, psychological thriller Bad Monkeys, and a Harley Quinn-led female DC ensemble.
