Earlier this month AMC announced that it has renewed The Walking Dead for an eighth season, and now it seems we may have our first casting addition, with Mario Bello (Goliath, Lights Out) revealing to People that she has a role in season eight of the ratings juggernaut.
“I am obsessed with the show. I have a friend who’s a producer on it and I’ve asked them to write me a part, which apparently they are for next season,” states the actress. “Even if I just play a zombie. I said, ‘I’ll just come out and play a zombie for an episode, I don’t care!’ But it is my favorite show.”
Season seven of The Walking Dead got underway last Sunday with its hotly-anticipated premiere ‘The Day Will Come When You Won’t Be’, which shrunk the regular cast by two as Negan’s victims were finally revealed. The show airs on Sunday nights on AMC in the States, and on Monday nights on FOX in the UK. Follow all of our coverage here.
