The cast for Kevin Williamson’s Scream 7 has gained a new member. According to Deadline, Mark Consuelos (The Girls on the Bus) will star alongside legacy stars Neve Campbell and Courteney Cox in the new Scream film.
Scream 7 is being directed by Kevin Williamson, creator and screenwriter of Wes Craven’s 1996 original, who stepped into the director’s chair after a creative overhaul that saw the departure of original director Christopher Landon (Happy Death Day) and Scream reboot final girls Melissa Barrera and Jenna Ortega.
There are no details on the story or on Consuelos’ character, but in addition to Campbell and Cox the new film will see the return of Mason Gooding and Jasmin Savoy Brown’s siblings Chad and Mindy Meeks-Martin. Newcomer to the franchise Isabel May will play the daughter of Campbell’s final girl Sidney Prescott.
Scream 7 will also see Celeste O’Connor, Asa Germann, McKenna Grace, Sam Rechner, Anna Camp and Joel McHale being introduced to the franchise. Like Consuelos, there is no word on who the rest of the new cast is playing with the exception of McHale as Sidney’s husband Mark.
Scream 7 is currently in production, and set for release on February 27th 2026.
