Now that Danny Boyle is officially on board to direct, casting rumours are starting to pick up on next year’s 25th instalment in the James Bond franchise.
Earlier this month it was rumoured that Helena Bonham Carter and Angelina Jolie are in contention for the villain in Bond 25, and now reports are circulating that Mark Strong may have secured a role.
The speculation stems from a now-deleted Instagram post from personal trainer Giacomo Farci, who shared an image of Strong working out complete with hashtags such as #jamesbond, #bond25 and #007.
Strong does have plenty of experience in the spy field, having starred in Kingsman: The Secret Service and its sequel Kingsman: The Golden Circle, along with the comedy caper Grimsby and Fox’s espionage drama Deep State.
