Netflix is set to team up Mark Wahlberg and Kevin Hart, with Deadline reporting that the pair have signed on to star in the comedy Me Time, which is being written and directed by John Hamburg (Night School).
As per the trade, Me Time “follows a stay-at-home dad (Hart) who finds himself with some “me time” for the first time in years while his wife and kids are away. He reconnects with his former best friend (Wahlberg) for a wild weekend that nearly upends his life.”

Hart is producing the film through his HartBeat Production company’s recent multiyear first-look deal with Netflix. The project also reunites Wahlberg with the streamer following the action-comedy Spenser Confidential, which pulled in a whopping 85 million views in its first month as part of the Netflix library.
