Market Corrections DLC releases for Offworld Trading Company

March 1, 2019 by Andrew Newton

Stardock and Mohawk Games have announced the release of the Market Corrections DLC for their real-time strategy game Offworld Trading Company.  This brand new DLC will focus on the reasons why humanity were forced to flee the Earth.

The Market Corrections DLC will tell the tale of why humans had to leave the Earth and will feature new single-player narrative campaigns that focus on three different CEOs trying to build up corporations on the the dusty red planet we call Mars.  Reni-6 is a CEO intent on convincing humans that all robots aren’t bad, Ilana Kamat runs her company while her mentor carries out vital research relating to Earth and Frank Dawson struggles for his company to clear the reputations of Mars’ penal colonists.

As well as three deep campaigns, this new DLC contains 12 new maps which have been inspired by the various famous locations on Mars, these include the cratered area of Mangala Valles, the rugged lands of Aurorae Chaos and the deep canyon of Mangala Fossa.

Also released today is a free multiplayer client that will allow players to compete against each other for free, even if they don’t already own the game.  Both this and the new DLC are available on Steam.
