Martin Scorsese is a busy man, indeed. Fresh off bringing long time passion project Silence to screens, the legendary filmmaker is now turning his gaze towards his next project, The Devil in the White City.
And no one will be surprised to hear that this involves long time collaborator Leonardo DiCaprio. This will be the sixth time the two men will be working together on a feature and the first time since The Wolf of Wall Street in 2013. The Devil in the White City – an adaptation of the Erik Larson novel of the same name – tells the interconnected tale of an architect and a serial killer doctor. And now, according to a Scorsese interview in the Toronto Sun, this project will be where his attention now turns.
“Right now, there is a script being worked on,” the director comments. “They want me to start again in January and see if we can find a way because it’s an extraordinary story”.
