Earlier this month Marvel Studios chief Kevin Feige suggested that the Inhumans movie could be pushed back from its original 2019 release date, and now it has been confirmed that the film has been pulled from the Phase Three slate. A new date is yet to be set.
Feige had said that the addition of Ant-Man and the Wasp and Spider-Man: Homecoming had shifted Marvel’s priorities, while Disney has also set the as-yet-untitled fifth Indiana Jones movie for release on July 19th 2019, one week after Inhumans was set to open.
Previous rumours had claimed that Marvel could pull Inhumans entirely, as it was apparently the TV side of the company pushing for Black Bolt and company to make their big screen debut. However, Deadline is reporting that the project is not dead, but will presumably be added to the studio’s Phase Four slate.
