Horror Prequels Unfairly Destroyed By Critics

Marvelous Videos presents horror prequels that got unnecessarily slammed…

We said it before and we’ll say it again: critics aren’t always right. As a website and blog dedicated to film criticism, we understand this more than anyone. Movies, like any other piece of art, are ultimately subjective. You may like something that others despise, and vice-versa.

That happens a lot with prequels to classic flicks. The predecessor set such a high standard for quality that the follow-up can’t help but feel like a let-down. Whether or not it’s objectively bad no one can say, but critics took to hacking up prequels to such films as The Exorcist and The Thing.

Well, as usual, Marvelous is presenting the other side of the argument. Check out their recommendations of the horror prequels that were unfairly dismissed by critics…
