Announced amongst a slew of other Marvel treats during the Disney Investor Day was the Nick Fury (Samuel L. Jackson) and Talos (Ben Mendelsohn) Disney+ show Secret Invasion, which according to reports will now begin filming this April.
Screen Rant suggests that Marvel are looking to push ahead with the release of their streaming content, with the studio hoping to unveil six of their shows in 2021, and have earmarked April 5th as the start of production for Secret Invasion.
WandaVision has already made a successful debut, Hawkeye has been filming in downtown Brooklyn, and shooting is rumoured to get under way on She-Hulk and Moon Knight in March. There’s no news yet on the start date of those series announced at the same time as Secret Invasion, but you can probably expect details on Don Cheadle’s Armor Wars and Dominique Thorne’s Ironheart to emerge soon.

As is the case with WandaVision, Marvel are looking to do something very different with Secret Invasion, and have said that above all else it will be a showcase for Jackson and Mendelsohn rather than an all-encompassing MCU event series.
