In the era of ever-shortening theatrical windows, Disney+ subscribers have faced a somewhat lengthy wait for Marvel Studios’ Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 , but the streamer has now announced that James Gunn’s trilogy-capper will be making its way to the streaming service on August 2nd.
Released in theaters back in May, Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 grossed $839 million at the box office, making it Disney’s biggest release of the year so far, and the second-highest grossing movie of the year to date behind another Chris Pratt offering, The Super Mario Bros. Movie.
