Marvel’s Hit-Monkey adds Cristin Milioti for second season

May 25, 2024 by EJ Moreno

The Marvel adult animated series Hit-Monkey is fleshing out the cast for its upcoming second season, and they aren’t monkeying around with their latest addition.

Variety reports Cristin Milioti will lend her voice to Hit-Monkey Season 2. She’ll star as Iris in the series.

Her character description states: “Iris has grown up vowing never to be like the father, Bryce, who abandoned her, but when fate brings them back together, she realizes that she and her old man are cut from the same cloth as they hurtle towards a final reconciliation.”

Cristin Milioti is best known for her work in the film Palm Springs and the 2022 Peacock series The Resort. She will next appear in Max’s The Penguin, where Milioti will play Sofia Falcone.

The first season follows a Japanese snow monkey who kills his way through the yakuza underworld on a quest for vengeance alongside the ghost of American assassin Bryce Fowler.

It’s reported the second season will see Monkey (Fred Tatasciore) and the ghost Bryce (Jason Sudeikis) travel from Japan to New York. Along with Tatasciore, Sudeikis and Milioti, the second season also features the voice talents of George Takei as Shinji, Olivia Munn as Akiko, Ally Maki as Haruka, and Nobi Nakanishi as Ito.

Season 2 of Marvel’s Hit Monkey will premiere on Hulu on July 15.
